Can I make factory V6 tach work with V8?

Got a bug to start making my 94 v6 4th gen car, thats been reverse retro fitted with early 406 controlled by L98 7730 ecm and t56 that was taken out of my deceases 87 3rd gen. I decided to try and make factory guages work, I have both operating, with speedo being pretty close as far as I can tell so far, will check against gps when weather clears. Tach is factory v6 tach, so it reads 33% to fast, any way I can fix this?

Re: Can I make factory V6 tach work with V8?

Thanks,
I spent days searching, guess I was not using right keywords.. I ended up finding a LT1 cluster for $30 in better shape than mine. I will make another post for people, I was able to make all of the guages work in the 94.. Probably useless, but it just made it more authentic I guess and a challenge to figure out. The only problem now is I am getting alot of noise to the factory tach, gonna try wires/cap first, but have to drop K-Member just to change wires. Also searched for a noise filter being I always have some sort of issue with that, can't find that either unless the old GM 70s-80would work, but doubt that.
