I am looking for a diagnosis article how I can find out what is wrong with my hatch motor. I have pulled it apart and checked the motor and that looks good. The problem I have is that once I installed the motor back in place it would only go down. Once it went down it would never come back up. So it is basically stuck at the bottom. Till now I have had to close the hatch firmly to get it to lock. But I would rather fix the problem then slamming the hatch shut.

If someone has a guide on how to check the motor can they please post it up.

 

Looks like I got the motor to come back up by pressing on the switch. But I have now noticed that the relay is missing DOH. It has been missing since day one. Does Bosch make an equivalent relay? I am in Australia and don't realy want to get a relay shipped over.
