Like the title says, my car started doing this right before I tucked it away for the winter. Pretty much every time I put my foot on the brake, whether the car is on or not, the defroster light to the right of the steering wheel turns on. If I take my foot off the brake, I can simply turn it off by hitting the switch, but with how often you need to use the brakes, it just turns back on.

I didn't know if this was a known issue (I doubt it), or if anyone knows of a harness in the car where the brake and defrost wire could be pinned next to each other, and over time the harness has somehow cracked and the wires have touched? This car is unmolested, the wiring for it has never been touched anywhere in the car, even the factory radio harness is intact. I am good with electronics, and might be able to solve the problem if I look around long enough, but just figured I'd post to get the communities input first. Thanks.
