I have an 87 iroc, the switch under the headlight switch was bust, I'm pretty sure thats the foglight switch, There are to connectors up front that look like they could go to foglights but I dont have any. I took off the switch and it is getting no power. I want to wire some strobes and use the wiring already there with a new switch and connect the strobes to the wirers up front by cutting off one of the connectors and wiring it like that.
my multi meter is broken so im using LED's to test for power. Are my assumptions about the switche and connectors correct? Also I wanna wire an LED to shine when I turn on my parking lights so they can light up my aftermarket oil and temp gauges, what wire do I put them on? Mahalo for your help

 

Been a while since I messed with these, but it's a strange circuit. You'll need a diagram. Seems like they only come on with the low beam headlights too.
