I was chasing down a tail light short, which I found. Afterward, my feul gauge was dead. I 've looked at wiring diagrams and can't even find the sender at all. I could be blind. I would imagine that it ran down the left side with the taillight wires. Any help here would be much apprieciated.

If I'm not mistaken, it's the pink wire running with the tail light wires, like you said.
It should dip from the tail light harness just after it exits the rear wall and it should go under the bumper under the car to the gas tank.
I'm not 100% sure (only 95%) but I believe it sounds right.
