headlights
on high beam 3 headlights work and on low, none work. I just want to know if one bulb being burned out has any affect on the other or if there is a wiring problem. I believe the outside lights are the high beams(3)prongs they work and one (2) prong inside works while on high beam. thanks

Re: headlights
Now that you say that ,I know you are right about the high beams are the inside lights. The car has sat for years and I suppose the low side elements could be burned out. Thanks for the insight, now I have some checking to do.

Re: headlights
Actually, there are high beam elements in both sets of lights. The inner pair are high beam only. The outer pair are your lows and also have a high beam element in them. When the high beams are on, all 4 lights should be on. With the low beams, only the outer 2 should be lit. Sounds like you've got some lights that need replacing.
