Starter question
I have a starter that has a Autozone part number DL3603MS. BUt i dont know what the motor is out of. I used the block numbers on back and i do know its a 5.7 Truck, years 80-85 4 bolt main. Now my question is im trying to find different starters or at least cross reference to match a starter to this block so i wont have so many shimming issues. I looked through 80-84 trucks on autozone.com and im only comming up with a DL3510MS and a DL3733MS. THe car was starting great with a 3603 but they wonnt warranty it cause it wasnt originally my starter. Can anyone find out what this starter fits so i can match it please. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Starter question
Give them the phone number of the person that you bought that from and it should be under that guy's warranty info. They should give you cash back if it was purchased fairly long ago that you could put towards the cost of a new one.

Re: Starter question
