Firebird Headlight assy's,older style into newer firebird.
I have a 1989 gta with bad headlight assys, I have purchased a set of 1983 headlight assy's these have 3 wires , my originals have 2 wires coming from the motor, how do I wire the older motors to my newer 1989 wiring.

'85 and up have a totally different system and motors. I don't think you can use the older ones.
Yours should have a little control module on the firewall, while 82-84 don't.

More important than how is why? The three wire headlight system was a mess. Stick with the two wire motors which were an improvement over the older 3-wire.
