MSD Blaster 3 Coil Compatible??

Hey guys - I've been searching on this for well over the past hour and haven't seen many people referencing doing this with a relatively stock setup. I have a new Blaster 3 coil laying around, and I was Considering using this instead of the typical external coil used on a small-cap dist.

Initially I thought it was a no-go since the external coils have 2x 2-plug connectors on them. But then when I found the wiring schematics here:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/alte...r-wireing.html

...on post 7, it appears that the 2 are just being wired in line with each other, essentially just being 2 wires to the coil, but headed in two directions.

Would it be the same setup to wire pink to + and white to - ? Am I misreading the diagram...not understanding something completely... or should that work?
