It's the same color wiring. Just get the pigtails and enough wire from a donor car and solder it in.

Yeah what would I know on the subject after finishing the same conversion last month...

(PS there's 6 wires on the output of a small cap, 4 on the main plug and 2 that goes to the coil)

And to finish this off

I went through this a few months ago.
The "Black" side plug on the coil is basically impossible to find.
One place that I did find was outrageous for the cost.

Grey Side of Coil
GM# 12101896
Delco # PT166
Car-Pak #94-7305

Black Side of Coil
GM # (does not exist in catalog anymore)
Car-Pak # 94-7306

Black side connects to here (best to locate this part at JY)

Distributor 2 wire connector
(Same as Coolant Temp Sensor)
GM # 15306195
Delco # PT-169

Distributor 4 wire connector
GM # 12126487
Delco # PT-757
Car-Pak # 89-6707

Car-Pak manufacturing
1401 Axtell Rd.
Troy MI. 48099
(248)-280-1401

They only sell through this place

Look at section 11, subheading "I"

And just in case...

If you are putting an MSD 6A box in, This is how it goes.

That is the "reversed adapter" in the diagram above.
Be careful that the pinout is not reversed like shown. Had me scratching my head as to why they did that.

Guess I can't count either Stuff above is for 8 pin.
Here's a 7 pin diagram in case you only do have 7 pins.
