Power steering pressure switch
I am not sure if this is where I should ask this question, but I am in the middle of an engine swap (2.8 to L98) and I need to know where to put the wire for the power stering pressure switch on the 7165 ECM. I cut it from the V6 ECM, and I know I am going to have to stick it in the V8 one, I just dont know where. Thanks!

Re: Power steering pressure switch
You can leave that switch disconnected.
The TPI engines do not use the PS pressure switch anymore. GM put this switch on the weaker engines (V6, V8 TBI and carb). The TPI has enough idle torque to prevent the engine from stalling, should the driver be a total idiot and hold the wheel in a lock.
Hope this helps.
