Wiring Autometer Oil Pressure and Water Temp

I just bought a pillar and a oil pressure and water temp gauge. I ran the wire from the back of the gauge down to the center console. I put both positives together and both negatives together from the gauges than i took the light that would light the heater/AC face plate up when lights are on and cut the wires running to the bulb and wired the gauges into that. I don't think it will be a problem but i figured i would ask cause i rather fix it now than rip it all a part again. If it will be a problem where should i run my wires too. Thanks Tom

I would simply splice into the pink/black wire going to the instrument panel and replace the gages 10A fuse in the fuse panel with a 15.

Where would this wire be located?
