rear hatch release wont work.

91 firebird, cant get the rear hatch release to work. I have replaced the switch and the release on the latch. The pull down works? any ideas????? thanks

Did you put the ground wire back on that runs from the 10mm screw attaching the hatch release to the body ground location? If not it won't work because the solenoid is isolated from ground by the guides.
