FOG LIGHTS?

Hey all, not sure if this is the right board for this, if not, please move it.

Im driving an 86 camaro, but I dont have fog lights on it (last owner removed?) But i still have the wiring harness that the lights plug into under the hood..

So i was in Wal*Mart today and in the auto section they have those blue fog lights, and I was wondering which model would fit my car?

thanks in advance!

Re: FOG LIGHTS?

I've seen some there before (not blue) that are virtually identical to the Camaro stock ones, just not the mount brackets (obviously) but they fit good. Just not sure if a new mount hole need to be drilled or if they'll fit in an existing hole.

The lenses were just blue..but i think they came with mounting brackets and adhesive tape (good for me, I hate to drill into cars..lol) I just need to know if they'll fit into the harness under the hood or if I have to cut and splice to the switch inside the car.

Re: FOG LIGHTS?

i would guess that you would have to splice into your wiring. I think most of those fog lights like that are for installation on something that doesn't have fog lights. the ones have looked at in the past usually came with all there own wiring and switch but would imagine that you could splice them into your stock wiring and use the stock switch.
