Killed hatch and interior electronics.
Well today I went to hook up my aftermarket deck. For a few minutes we had it working, then we were connecting speakers and getting it ready to sit in there when it killed the interior lights (dome and under dash). We ended up burning up a few fuses, but the rest should be good, or at least the ones that matter.
So the problems are now:
Click the hatch button, nothing happens. Hatch seems fully shut from last time I shut it, and nothing looks caught. I don't have the 3rd hatch key, only doors and ignition.
Footwell lights no longer work.
Dash Gauges light up, headlights, blinkers, all work. Gauges all work.
Overhead dome light no longer works.
Any ideas? Every now and then we could get the radio to turn on then it'd turn off. Oh and I did disconnect the radios and tape off the connections.

The ACC fuse provides power for the dome light and hatch.
If that fuse is good it sounds like you burnt a wire or two.
So start tracing from the ACC fuse outward.
Happy Racing!
If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going BackwardsFog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.
How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!
