What is this box under my dash?
I cut it out when I went to carb and now can't remember what it's purpose was. Has 'AC' on the front.

BTW, the cruise, should you wish to keep it, would still function without the ECM. The ECM only acts as the ground for the cruise.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't even think of cruise its been gone for so long. Vacuum diaphram is long gone with the cruise. I know I cut out the airbag module, ecm, and this thing leaving the VATS box in place but couldn't remember what this did!

i was thinking what that box is also. heres a pick of it in my dash. i have a different bracket than you. is it still the same cruise control box? this ones located almost in the center more on the passenger side.
