Coil Mounting

I have installed a Ram Jet 350 in a 1988 Camaro, but I haven't found a good place to mount the coil. Where was it originally on the v8? Any idea where I should mount it now?

Re: Coil Mounting

depends on the v8 - tbi had it mounted on the intake, tpi had it on the distributor cap. you can mount most anywhere - just need a long enough wire. old v8s had them on the firewall alot of times, or the fenderwell.
