Computer Chip?
Just got my hands on an 87 IROC 305 TPI / M5. It has a Posi But I dont know what gear ratio, I believe a 3:08. Anyway its fast for what it is, but im not satisfied
Im not looking to spend alot of money. I was thinking a performance computer chip and a set of 4:10 gears..... The gears are going in regardless but what I want to know is are the chips all theyre cracked up to be?

no on the chips - especially the eBay jobs - there's nothing in a chip program that can get you a noticeable amount of performance increase in an otherwise stock motor.
