Sorry if I'm throwin this question out in the wrong section but I figured it went in the electrronics, so, I was thinkin of integrating a MyGig into my '90 RS which comes standard on the new challenger, newer jeeps and other cars, i've never done anything like this before can someone tell me if its possible in the first place and if its going to be ridiculously hard or not? I do realize it isn't gonna just slide in but some info would be cool.

I think its a cool idea, probably possible, but I doubt theres away to get that dodge symbol outa there, if there is and be able to add a pontiac symbol would be good, probably just better off getting a satellite radio sytem or something or a deck that also has a hard drive in it. cuz that system probably is wired in one way or another into the whole bodyharness to the computer, so you may need a shitload of stuff to work it. So there is many other companies that offer something similar, just depends on what you wanna spend. Its more than likely what youd call a proprietory system nowdays, meaning one on system for one brand, and wont work with others. kinda like buying something on xbox 360 and no way to make it work with ps3

 

ya I'll probally find something else cause this thing is $1800 used and I could go get another car for that much
