gauges lights at night

hey yal. the light for my gauges at night went out durring the summer and i just put in a switch in for the head lights/ dome light being told that usually is the problem. all fuses are fine.

where else should i look to fix this problem or did the light just fail?

If the HVAC panel lights you have a discontinuity from the INST LPS FUSE to the cluster in the dash.

Look for a defective or dirty contact in the connector going to the dash.

Then look for a broken trace on the dash circuit board (hard to see).

My ip lights were on and I decided to pull out my radio ., and then they weren't illuminated anymore... Any ideas

Ip lights worked before I pulled my radio out then the lights weren't lite up

First check the TAIL fuse.

If that’s OK use a voltmeter or test light
(the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) to probe the orange wire at the switch.

Is there power there?

If yes probe the
brown wire on the switch when the switch is in the on position.

Is there power there?
