my 1991 rs tbi is not starting no SECURITY light will turn on i guess it my vat no cranking nethier no primeing. i change the lightbulb so yes the security light works any idea guys before i take this thing apart

When you turn the key to the on position, does anything happen? Does the SES light come on? I would check the fuse near the battery, as it powers the ECM and fuel pump.

It may not be a VATS issue though. If the VATS system doesn't enable the starter, then the security light will remain lit, and it won't let you try again for 5 minutes. I found out the hard way when my ignition cylinder stopped reading the key resistor. Also, when you turn the key to the on position, the security light should blink once, then go off.
