Besides the pod there are 3 other relays/modules behind the dash that operate the Berlinetta Ventilation system.
1 Blower relay ( usually results in no High speed blower - but can fail for any/all speeds )
2 Vacuum Solenoid ( controls where the air is delivered - defroster, floor, ect.. )
3 Temp Door ( Hot/Cold )
AT THE BACK OF THE HEATER POD:
There is a RED wire leading to the pod ( PIN 'T'), this wire should carry battery power at ALL times. There is a Brown wire leading to the pod ( PIN 'K'), this should carry battery power with the key in RUN. The BLACK wire is ground ( You could even splice in a Jumper wire to see if that helps. ) Those are the most significant wires to probe,....
When it come to the wipers; The problem could be the buttons inside the pod,.... or the wiper motor ( more accurately, the cover ) is fried. The Berlinetta wiper motor is not the same as other thirdgens so you have to be sure to get the right motor - or convert to a 'regular' ThirdGen wiper motor.
P.S. NO the digital dash cluster is not connected to the "computer" in any way. The ECM controls emissions only.

Re: 1984 berlinetta heater and wipers don't work
I have a heater/wiper control panel for sale. I purchased it a few years back for a 86 camaro berlinetta but never got around to putting it into the car. It is remanufactured and in great shape. If interested, shoot me an email kevin_gaines33@yahoo.com I can post on ebay (if its not at the time your looking) so that it can be purchased. I just know this has to come in handy for someone.
Re: 1984 berlinetta heater and wipers don't work
I have a 1984 Berlinetta. I've had a tough time getting a wiper motor cover. I am not the most mechanically inclined person, so can anyone tell me how hard is to convert to a regular ThirdGen wiper motor?
