Need key on 12V and ground obviously
Tap into the factory tacho signal feed going to stock dash, saves having to run new wire from engine bay to new tacho

I may happen to do this very same thing. Do you happen to know an easy way to tap into this wire and the best spot to tap into it?

You need the the wiring diagram for your car to identify the tacho signal wire ( usually white ). Usually easiest to tap into it where it comes through the bulkhead plug from engine bay unless you remove dash and tap into the wire where it plugs into the dash unit

Thanks.. I usually don't do any guessing and run it strait from the distributor anyway... sometimes its just as quick as trying to figure out which wire it is..
But i am all up for the quickest way but its not always the best..
