clutch switch issues

Engine: TPI 305

Transmission: T 5

Axle/Gears: 3.45 Posi 9 bolt

clutch switch issues

Ok is there another switch other than the one on the clutch pedal itself? Been having some issues starting the car, did away with the one at the pedal its straight wired. But car still wont start unless clutch is pressed, also i was just wondering, undid the wires that went to that switch and car still starts. So that switch seems to do nothing. Where would another switch be? there is nothing else on the pedal, would there be something outside on the firewall or down on the transmission? Its driving me crazy

Ok i found the other switch, its up behind the clutch pedal, why are there 2 switches on the clutch pedal? What does the other one do because it doesnt have anything to do with the starter
