Were do these wires go to?

Transmission: 700R4 / 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42's / 3.23's
Were do these wires go to?
there are two wires in this picuture all the way to the left of the picture (the red and white wire) that i dont know what they are for. They are extend to go as far as the core support and are branched off the main wiring loom, it is on the same loom as the oil pressure sensor and 6 wire wheather proof connector. Help please. an input will be helpful. Thank you

Im sorry it was originally a 305tpi 5sp car, and is a 1988 iroc. The person i bought it from hacked up the original harrness to make it work for a carbed mid 70's 350.

It sounds like I have the same set-up. But I can't really tell what I'm looking at in the pic. can you post another pic from a little farther back?
