VATS

I need help to get my car started. I have a 1991 Trans Am 350 5 speed. When I turn the key it does nothing. The guy I got it from tried bypassing the ignition with a push button sending a wire from the button to the starter and one from the button to the battery. I tried bypassing vats by cutting the wire underneath the steering column and installing a resistor pack I made and still nothing. What can I do to get my car running without having to go to the dealer?

Re: VATS

Hotwire the starter direct from the battery to see if starter actually works first before looking for other problems

Re: VATS

Already have done that it acts like it wants to turn over but wont because the vats system shut down the fuel going to the injectores
