hey guys, my cruise control doesnt work, i was driving on the highway and when i put it in cruise it holds for a couple seconds but then slows down (kicks out of cruise) but it somewhat resumes when i push the gas a little bit, what is wrong and how do i fix it?

 

I would assume a vacuum leak but if i were u since ur restoring your firebird u should replace the old lines anyway but also if that doesnt work just troubleshoot the whole cruise control assembly from the switch all the way to the motor
