HELP!! Fog Light Question.... Need to know what to do.
I kno there is prob a whole page dedicated to this, if someone has it please send it to me. I have allready tried the search button and haven't found anything that is useful.
I want to add fog lights to my 84 camaro. Car didnt come with any so i would need to get the brackets and lights plus some wiring. the car has a 92 rs Ground effects package on it as well so i figured i would mount them in the factory location just to make it simple and plus i would have no idea else to mount them.
Would it be better to just put a small switch on my dash by my headlight switch to flip them on and off and run power directly from the battery or should i tap into the hot lead for my headlight switch?
My other problem is i need to know where to get a set that would would be nice and bright like my new h4 headlight, that i purchased off of Prostreetlighting.com.
Also i need to know where to purchase a set and possible some quick instructions on how to install them?
Thanks
Scott

A couple different ways you can go, just up to you really. Do you want OE brackets and OE housings? If so, they're kinda hard to come by but are out there if you search enough. Try the classifieds on this site for used stuff or one of the used parts vendors here too. Otherwise, you might find some of these parts new from retailers like http://www.classicindustries.com or http://www.camarocentral.com . I found mine used from a member here on TGO. As for the bulbs, check out the PIAA lines of products but you might need to fabricate the attachment to the housing. If aftermarket lights are suitable, pick your poison. Measure up the grill and go for it. Again, you'll need to build your own brackets but, that's easy enough. Did that for the RS I used to own and powered the lights with a toggle & a 30 amp relay.
Good luck
