Car: 1988 Camaro Sport Coupe
Engine: 305 Non Computer Edlebrok Carb
Transmission: Turbo 350
Axle/Gears: Original ones that came with car
ECU wires

i have a 88 camaro with a carbed 305 with a turbo 350, the computer isnt used any more and i have unpluged it, can i remove all the wires the pluged into it that go imto the engine bay or are some of them still needed by other things like the lights, turn sig etc?

That Does Not Compute

You may remove all the single wires.

If you see any pins with 2 wires crimped together you might have to retain the connection as it might be going to another place in the car.

You should just shorten them a bit, and tuck them in the fenderwell - that way you've got an almost unlimited supply of wires running from inside the cabin to the engine bay! I did this with mine, and I use them all the time for things like manual fan switches, foglights, underhood lighting, and all sorts of stuff. Just make sure to use relays under the hood, and battery power for things that consume alot of amps like foglights - since those small wires won't handle the juice of larger needs.
