headlight issue
89 pontiac firebird
my headlights on dim are for the most part useless and my brights are ok
the headlights came of another car and they worked great
could this be a bad ground or the dimmer switch because the switch is a little messed up
plz

Grab a voltmeter, start the engine, turn on the headlights.
Measure the voltage on the lamps.
