Headlight trouble

I have a 90 camaro and when i turn the lights on the brights come on but I cant switch to low beams does anyone have a idea why it is like this.

Engine: L31 GM crate re-cammed , 318
Transmission: T-5 , 4 speed auto
Axle/Gears: 3.42 , ?

most likely the hi/low beam switch has slipped out of adjustment . 20yrs of flipping beams can do that . it's located on the steering shaft below the shaft support . remove under dash panels on drivers side . on lt. side of shaft you will see a white boxy looking switch with an "L" shaped rod going to it . thats the dimmer switch , lightly loosen bolts holding it in place , slide it up the shaft till no slop in linkage , tighten bolts . that's it . good luck .

i have a similar problem only its the brights that don't turn on, could it be the same switch?

Thank you man that was right on the dot with what it was alittle bit a PITA getting to the bolts tho but it works perfect now.

im having a similer problem but the plastic that the rod slips into thats attached to the stalk is broken? any help here?
