What type of guages do I have?

Hi, I have a 92 RS and am looking into replacing my entire gauge set because I am building an lt1. I figure it would be best to get more efficient gauges, and when were done with the engine we are redoing the interior. So, my question is what type of gauges does my car have? Electric or mechanic and what would be better to use? anything will help
