Re: fuel guage?

All of the guages should work fine in your car as long as all you disturbed was the pass side wiring harness.

Correct, all the gauges will work if you started with a TBI car that has the VSS buffer box. If not they will all work except the speedo. That is also assuming you hooked up the stock water temp and oil pressure senders on the engine right.

Re: fuel guage?

no i used all my own gauges and sending units. this is my first build so it is kinda ghetto rigged. and the guy who owned the car before me was planning on making it a dirt track car. so idk what he cut out but i had to run my own power to the fuel pump and run another tach and water/oil sending units so idk what he did to mess it up but it does no work. so if there is anyone who knows how to run one from scrath please help me out thanks.

Re: fuel guage?

Im guessing he dropped in the motor thats in it? This might help figure out the wiring under the hood. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/ltx-lsx/541387-how-prep-3rd-gen.html
If the PO hacked up the dash wiring, it will probably be easier to replace the whole thing than trying to figure out what he cut/changed around.
