87 iroc cluster (145 mph)

Cannot get the instrument cluster to work. Checked all fuses and wiring, still does not read tac, oil pressure, temp. Does anyone know where I could find a good cluster. There are not too many junk yards here and I want to get one from someone that knew it was working when it was taken off the car. thanks for any help

Re: 87 iroc cluster (145 mph)

u can try ebay but expect to pay a good bill for it. or search with ur local members one of them might be willing to trade closters (for testing purposes that is) as all closters are interchangeable as far as i kno correct me if not but so far ive worked like in 4 camaros including mine and usually i just pulle one in and drop the other one in also always swaping sensors when u go from dummy lights to neddles just my two cents good luck

also have u checked the wiring and made sure ur getting a signal from all of them for the tach it comes from the dizzy it'll say tach on dizzys cap temp comes from sensor on heads usually driver side although it can be on the pass side green wire i think oil from the oil pressure switch next to the dizzy big cylindrical sensor with one wire at the top cant miss it volts it reads from the feed it gets to power the other gauges and gas comes from the fuel sending unit in the gas tank check those first good luck again

I'd make sure the cluster is seated properly. Are the two 10 mm nuts in place and tight?
