Hanging cable

Hi, I have a wire hanging under my car. Its on the driver side next to the oil pan. Could somebody please tell me where it goes?

Connects into your transmission.

Thats weird, I had the transmission rebuilt 6 months ago and the mechanic even showed me an old busted cable he replaced from the transmission.

Re: Hanging cable

It controls the lockup converter. Look along the top of the pan rail and you'll find the plug where it's supposed to be connected.

Re: Hanging cable

TCC control, looks like the "mechanic" forgot to unplug it when he dropped the tranny and it ripped half the pins off. He tried to patch it his best by plugging it in and hoping you wouldnt notice

Replacing the connector is small fish, it's just soldering 3 wires. Making sure the internal trans harness is still good is a bit more difficult
