Hello everyone I am new to this site and so far find it very informative. I have a question , I have an 88 corvette with the large coil in cap dist is it possible to swap to the small divorced coil dist are there any wire conversion kits available or how would I wire into my existing harness

The epoxy filled coils are prone to fail as it holds heat, the can type oil filled ones are just better as the oil cools them, plus your Ign modual isn't subjected to all that coil heat anymore.

Ok then the wiring wouldn't change much, you just have to mount the ign modual outside the cap somewhere. Though if you step up to a MSD box you don't even need it anymore.
