84 to 92 wireing

so im in a bit of knot. i bought a 92 rs f body camaro with a 3.1 (seized) motor but body is completly mint and i recieved a 1984 z28 with a 305 carbed with the rochester q jet the body completly junk. i pulled both motors and trannys out and i want to put the 305 in the 92 my question is the solenoid in the q jet what exactly does it do and what controls it im thinking of switching wireing harnesses but my 92 has power windows etc and my 84 does not. does this mean if i switch harnesses i will be with out power options. are there two harnesses like one in the engine compartment and in the interior. if so will my 92s wires fit my 84s pcm i want my camaro to have all the sensors but im leaning towards just wiring power to the distributor and going. also is it possiable to bypass the solenoid in the carb. im terriable at wiring and i need help thanks!

Doubt it especially seeing 3.1 is injected and 305 is carb

IIRC is to do with emissions control.Could put any carb on it and forget about the ECM or solenoid
