firebird headlight conundrum
i have an interesting quirk that has arisen with my 92 bird. I used to be able to turn the running lights and floods on without the headlights coming up. I turned them on today, and the headlights pop up. they are not on, but they pop up. Never did this before and im a little confused. Only thing i have done is disconnect the battery for some other work (welding around the rear or the car), and replace a ground terminal on one of the flood lights right at the bulb.
a friend of mine has the same problem, but its been doing ti for years. his car is a 91 gta.
any ideas?

I know my answer won't make sense, but I can tell you what my customers have told me fixed this condition. They repaired their headlight motors using one of my headlight repair kits. Afterwards the problem of the headlight rising when the park light was pressed was solved.
