My dad and i put 2 10" subs into my 85' Z28 a while back. At the time i didnt think i wanted to upgrade the speakers, but now i am thinking about getting rid of the subs/box/amp and just putting new speakers in my car. Im tired of every song i listen to having a ton of bass. If i kept the subs and got new speakers would i still have alot of bass on every song i listen to? It seems like most of the sound is coming from the subs right now anyways. Is there a way i can decide when i want the subs on? Would putting all new speakers in and just ditching the subs still give me a fair amount of bass? (kinda getting tired of a ton of bass anyways)
