I purchased an 87 RS a few months ago. I have since then put in a new 350 block and interior swap. The person who owned it before me had no love for the car or its value to an Fbody lover as myself. There was originally a 2.8L V6 in there and when the original owner pulled the motor to put in an old truck motor in there, he chopped the harnesses that come off the firewall. There is only about 6 to 8 inches of wire coming out the main plug on the driver side firewall and the passenger side harness is inside the fender near where the AC used to be mounted.

I need the wiring diagrams for the harnesses. The igntion is connected to a push button wired directly to the battery as well as the altenator and radiator fan. I am very picky and want to do it right. I have swapped everything out of the car completely down to a shell and trying to finish up. All I have is the wiring to straighten, install the AC and prime and paint. The motor is running and driving but I have only taken it as far as 5 to 6 houses past mine and back.

Thanks. I have those diagrams. I just wanted to make sure I had the right ones. I have no computer in there anymore…that was yanked out as well. Guess I just have a lot of tracing down to do. Since its a carbed motor, I will not be putting the computer back in. I basically just need to hook up my factory Tach, get the key ignition working, and make sure the alternator and radiator fan is wired properly and I should be good….that is till I start tackling putting the AC back in the car.
