hi lt1 swap problem.
I have a trans am 1989 with 1989 tpi computer, distributor with a lt1 1995 engine run good exept one thing. The tpi intake have a air temp sensor and the lt1 dont. I have a check engine because of that ....can i relocate it far away from engine to read colt temp or remplace with a resistor?

Re: hi lt1 swap problem.
its not uncommon for people to put the air temp sensors close to the air filter if you've got a custom intake; it can often give a more accurate reading since its not getting heat soaked from the engine heat
