Where can i get a rear hatch relay for a 92' z28? My motor goes all the way up then back down ryte after, im assuming its the relay, beacause i have a new motor cause the old one crapped out. Any info will be apprreciated.

If you grab the trunk lid and lift before it starts pulling it back down, does the motor still go back down without the lid on it? If so, you probably need new lid struts rather than a relay - the lids are very heavy, if the struts are worn, then the lid doesn't 'pop' off the motor when it releases, thus the weight of the lid remains on the switch and starts the motor going back down. I have the same problem.

 

idk if they are worn, but it stays up when i open it all the way. Lemme check on that, thanx for the info.

 

Mine stays up all the way too, but it does not 'pop' like I've seen others do so my guess is new struts.
