Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: automatic
Wiring mess!
Hi all, I have an 89 firebird 305 tbi. I love this car but it has a short in the ctsy fuse that causes the car to die after just a few minutes. It also has a viper security system from way back when and the security light keeps coming on. Just wondering if anyone else had a system like that come with their car and if maybe it is wired through the ctsy? Tried bypassing vats, but it would not work. I'm not good with electrical, so I appreciate any help. Thanks

Anti-Viper Cure
Remove the old alarm system, you don’t know if it’s operating or wired in correctly.
Then see if the fuse still blows or the car stalls.
