I had a 91 camaro RS front end on my car. I switched it with an 84 Z28 (not sure if that matters). The little yellow lights at the bottom don't fit into the sockets where they go now. My first idea was to cut the wires and use the lights that from the 84 since they still (probably) work. Would it be a bad idea to try splicing wires together or is there a simpler way?

If I'm not explaining this very well I would be glad to provide you with more information when you ask.

Are you talking about the turn signal lights on the front? I had a 91 front on my 82 berlinetta and I didnt have to cut wires. I wouds check to see if the other lights fit the nose piece. If not, doing a cut and splice will not hurt anything. Just be sure to do a good splice and use shrink tube over that splice to keep it dry
