im installing '85 t/a tail lights in an '89 formula, wiring issues...
can anyone point me in the right direction for how to wire these together? they have diff color wires so i cant just snip and connect... ANY info is appreciated. idk where to start looking to fig this out. sorry i dont have the color of the wires atm.

if you can call it solved...
i just plugged the 4 main bulbs into the GTA tail slots.
-outermost is the turn signal
-mid2 are running/brake lights
-inner most is reverse lights
they arent the exact same light pattern but ill live with it. also hada swap out the turning signal sockets for the ones off the GTA harness cuz the formula turning signal socket wouldnt physically fit with the GTA tails.
i just plugged the 4 main bulbs into the GTA tail slots.

If you have a couple of hours of your time just follow the link i gave you.
That's what i did on mine yesterday.
But i spent the whole day because of other problems.
I had some 1982 trans am taillights i wanted to install on a 91 firebird.
The guy who sent me the 82 lights also gave me the bulb sockets.
To be honest i just had to use two of them (the running lights at the corners).
For the others i used the existing sockets from the firebird harness.
Some cuts, some joints and that's it, work is done.
If you want to try i'll help you out in case of problems.
