question about Dakota Digital, T56, and autometer

Hello everyone, i'm part way through my T56 swap, and i am doing some wiring. i upgraded from a cable driven speedo in my 87 iroc to a t56 with electronic vss. now i plan on converting to all autometer gauges including the speedometer. i do however have the vss cable hanging the the engine bay going to the stock harness, as well as the small converther on the back of my gauge cluster...

so my question is, now that i have the T56 and i will be going with autometer gauges, do i still need the Dakota Digital box to convert the signal for my pcm?

i also do have the option of getting a retune, because i do have a cutom chip already.

just need to get my stuff straight before i start reassembling my interior if i have more wiring to do for the Dakota box.
