Headlights won't go down
OK, so the headlights on my 89 Formula 350 go up without any problem, but only go about halfway when I turn them off. So what I have been doing is turning the running lights on and off repeadedly. When I turn those on, the headlights don't go back up, and when I turn them off again, the headlights inch down little by little. I keep on doing it until they are all the way down. I was thinking it may be time to replace the motors, but I can't find the instructions in my Chilton manual. Help please!
Re: Headlights won't go down
If it's both motors, it's more likely a problem with the headlight control relay... It's the black box on the firewall next to the brake booster and wiper motor. They go bad often.

Re: Headlights won't go down
I was hoping someone was going to tell me that. Yeah, both headlights are doing the exact same thing, so the relay makes sense. Is that an easy fix ... like just unplug the old one and plug in the new one?? I have to ask because again, my Chilton manual doesn't discuss it ... at least not that I can find anyway. Thanks!!

Exactly that simple. Two plugs to pull. top-downsolutions and thirdgenranch have the modules if you can't find one.
