power locks, mirrors, interior lites, horn
I have a 1989 RS Camaro. If I put a fuse in the ACC port on the fuse panel, I get the locks, mirrors and interior lites to work, but the lites won't shut off unless i pull the fuse but no matter what the horn still won't work. I can't find a fuse for courtesy lites or the horn. I turned the headlight switch and pushing in the door switches and the interior lites stay on. I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated

Re: power locks, mirrors, interior lites, horn
Might be broken/missing wire from the door switches - when the door is opened, they provide a ground for the lights. One of the door switches might be messed up and allowing the ground to remain after all the doors are shut. Did you close the hatch as well? I don't remember if dome light comes on with hatch or not.
I want to think the horn is on a seperate fuse, but I'm not sure.

The mirror lites stay on also. I have the headliner out getting re-done so i can't test the overhead lite. I redid a 1969 Firebird awhile back, and i figured out the electrical in that car, but this one has me stumped. Thanks

Yes, you have a bad switch. Most likely one of the door switches, but could also be the headlight switch.
The horn is on the same circuit, but it's a different problem. Your horn problem is most likely the relay, but you'll have to check. Start looking for power at the horns and work your way back to the horn button.

I pulled and looked at all fuses and they are good and also tested the 2 30 amp silver fuses which were also good. Any other thoughts?

Inot sure. I put all new fuses in. I didn't reuse any old fuses. Sometimes fuse testers aren't very accurate. That's just what I've learned.

Follow the WHITE wire till you find where it’s insulation has rubbed thru and touching ground.

Remove the knee bolster.
The relay is to the right of the steering column.

Invisible Relay
Because you can’t find the relay look for a 20 AWG black wire coming out of one of the steering column connectors.
It’s a flattish connector with an 11 wire capacity.
Trace the wire to the relay, or to where the wire stops because the PO removed it.
Once you see how much the PO removed we can tell you how to reinstall it.

Re: power locks, mirrors, interior lites, horn
not sure if you may have same problem i had just getting a different result ..mine kept burning the fuse after about 10 seconds....found out the cigarette lighter was shorting everything out or at least cuasing electrical problems with that part of the system...try unplugging the lighter from the back and see if that helps
