Odometer mismatch
Odometer mismatch
Is there anyway at all, when doing an engine and dash swap, to get the new dash in the car set to read how many actual miles are on the car? I'm going to be installing a 350 in my car here soon, and it was a V6 so I want to get a 140mph speedo, but my car only has 93K on it, and the dash I want has 138K on it, and I don't want it to read like that, I want the dash to read that my car has 93K on it and not 138K.
Can I get this done legally anyhow? I know if you try to turn them back, they will defect and you'll be able to tell that you tampered with them, but can it be rolled over and then reset to what I need it to be?
