Speedometer real mileage?
My 88 camaro reads as 49842 on the odometer. Is there a way to tell if the real milage is 149842? There are only 5 slots on the odometer so there is no room for the 100,000 mile marker

Yep, you have to go by the wear items clues. It could easily be 149842 or some other number. The odometer on these cars only takes about 45 minutes to an hour to make it read what ever you want.

That's why I love it when someone says " Oh, it only has 37,000 miles on it".
After it has rolled over twice......
Not saying yours does or doesn't.
Just I hear it a lot.
